Easter and things...

I suck at blogging. Sorry to all 4 people that read my blog. But here are some things Bobby and I have been up to since March... In no order at all.

We (me bobby and kim and justin) went to visit the Mortimer's in Long Beach! Super quick trip but worth it.

Evan's Home!!!!

For those of you that don't know, I love my little (and by little I mean younger) brother like A LOT. He is so important to me and has been one of my very best friends my whole life. Well, he came home after serving a honorable two year mission in the Tennessee Nashville Mission!  We are so proud of him and the time he gave to serve the Lord and spread the Gospel. He is so awesome. I pretty much wanted to just keeping hugging him once he got here. Of course we had to make the usual "Mormon" spectacle at the airport with a giant banner and posters and balloons. We made lots of people smile though, especially Evan. It was funny, my mom and I were talking to him a couple days after he got home and asked if he expected us to have signs and whatnot, he nonchalantly said, "yeah." We love Evan sooooooo much and are really glad he's home :D Here are some pics!

Mommy and Me

Last year I took only one week of my two weeks paid vacation, and oddly enough this upset my boss(who by the way is the best boss EVER) so he "required" me to take another week ASAP once the new year started. I told my momma this and how I really wanted to go visit Emily and her family in Henderson. My mom was all over it! She got us super cheap tickets to Las Vegas and we flew out in February. We had a very fun filled week of shopping, eating, shopping, playing Nertz and of course playing with the kiddos! I felt so old because one night I went to the park with my 8 year old niece Sarah and 6 year old nephew and we played four-square, which I loved too when I was a kiddo. Well, the reason I felt old is because while playing I kept saying to the kids, my back hurts and my back kept popping. I was like dude, what the heck is happening to me! HA! It was fun though and I miss them all so much. I didn't take very many pictures but here are a few.

Long Beachhhhh

A couple weekends ago Bobby and I helped one of our bestest couple friends move. Jo and Katie are gone to Long Beach, and we helped them get there. We realllllly miss them already but are so excited for them and this new chapter in there lives. Jo got into nursing school at Long Beach State and he's super excited to get started there. And of course, Katie went with him. :D

We drove down on Saturday morning. Unpacked, ate, unpacked, slept, unpacked, and went to the beach. Ha. It was a fun little weekend. Here are some of our finer moments at the beach.

We are really gonna miss having Katie and Jo close by, but don't think that 7 hours in the car is gonna stop us from seeing them frequently for the next 2 years!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New 2011!!!

We had wonderful Christmas this year. We looked at Christmas lights with our friends Melissa and Derek. I went to my annual work Christmas party at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse (DE-LISH!) and we got our $10 Wise Buys Christmas Tree. :D Ellen and Josh came to visit for Christmas which was fun. We went to Grandma Shirley's for Christmas Eve which was fun as usual and Grandma Shirley, who is the hippest Grandma ever got an iPad from every one! She was so excited! It was adorable! Then we read The Best Christmas Pagent Ever with the Davis'. Christmas morning started bright and early and Bob and I opened our gifts to each other, Bobby got us an xbox Kinect! Its sooo much fun! I got Bobby a new lawn mower. And there were lots of other fun gifts. We spent the day between the Davis' and the Green's. Yummy breakfast with my fam and lunch with the greens. Then of course Jack-In-the-Box with the davis' to round the day out. We ate a lot that day! It was awesome! New Year's was pretty low key for us. We went to Red Robin for dinner with Kim and Justin and then just played games and watched Despicable Me (which included all of us falling asleep...) but we woke up in time for midnight! Ha! Hopefully this year brings lots of excitement and things for us! OHHHH!!!!!! BEST NEWS EVER! Bobby got hired for an accounting job! YAYAYAYAYAY! SO happy! Its at Gilbert and Associates CPA! He's going to be working with his brother in law too which is way cool! He is sooo excited! Adios Safeway! Hello Gilbert! :D HaPPPy New YEar Everyone!

Catchin Up

I'm a terrible blogger... But its ok! I'm blogging now!
The biggest and most BESTEST news as of late is that Bobby passed his last CPA test!!!! YAY! We could not be any happier! Bobby has spent MANY hours studying for the 4 tests and got his results for the final test last week. He's now on the hunt for a job so look out accounting world cuz this stud is comin at-cha!

And if you couldn't tell from the picture, Bobby recently decided he wanted to be into Harry Potter. I'm not all that into it but because I'm a good wife I went along with it and watched all 6 movies with him in 6 nights and then went and saw #7 with him. It was fun, but I still don't think I'm convinced enough to read the books...
