Turkey Day

For Thanksgiving Bobby and I went to Grandma Shirley's and had a DELICIOUS dinner! At any meal with a roll involved, Bobby will make himself a sandwich out of the food. Its really funny to watch him build and eat it. We had a really nice time with the family. Afterwords, we went to my parents house and played a game of Speed Scrabble. Which is different from regular Scrabble, there is no board and you use 2 or 3 sets of letters, you want to have the lowest score to win. We played to 100 and somehow mom managed to win with a score of only 7 points! I lost with 109 points... Haha. It was a great Turkey Day!

Twilight Movie

My mom and I went and saw Twilight today! The movie was good but no where near as good as the book! We were the first ones in the theater (we only got there an hour early...
)Haha. Bobby said that getting there that early qualifies us as nerds, but I figure we already are considering we waited 2 hours for the fourth book to come out at midnight. We had a good time and enjoyed the movie!
My Mom's review = C+
My review = B

Happy Halloween!

I finally decided that it was time for a Liz and Bobby blog! I love all the blogs I normally read by family and friends and want to be able to share all the things Bobby and I do. Not that we have amazingly exciting lives or anything, but I want to be fun and share like everyone else! Haha. So I'm starting with our fun Halloween!

To start off celebrating the Halloween Holiday Justin, Kim, Bobby and I went to a GIGANTIC Corn Maze. We went on a Friday evening because the thrill of getting lost in the dark was so enticing. Ha. First problem, we didn't bring flash lights. Second problem, me, being the genius that I am, decided we didn't need a map of the maze. Well, shortly after entering the 40 acre maze we were confused and didn't know where we were supposed to go. We asked someone where we should be heading and the first thing they said was, "Where is your map?" We told them we had no map and they replied with, "Well, don't plan on getting out of here without one." Luckily someone let us have a spare map and then we were fortunate enough to have the assistance of a recently trained military dude to follow and guide us to the end. It was fun, but definitely not something I'd want to do again.

The week before Halloween my friend Kim and I had a ton of fun decorating the house's front porch. It started with carving pumpkins, which neither of us had done in years, but I quickly remembered how much I dislike the inside of pumpkins. Its sooo GROSS and MESSY, not to mention smelly! But Kim and I had a great time carving them. I had gotten my pumpkin carving idea from a book my mom has, it was a skeleton snow man type deal! It was by far the BEST idea I'd ever seen for a pumpkin carving! It turned out so CUTE and I got a ton of compliments from Trick-or-Treaters! Our porch was decked out with cobb webs and lights! It was really fun to do because it was the first time I've really decorated for any holiday at our house besides Christmas lights.

Halloween night we invited Kim, Justin, Katie and Jo over to play games! We all sort of dressed up... Katie and Justin had the best costumes by far, Katie was Alice from the Twilight Book series, she looked amazing with gold contacts in her eyes and all! Justin was Clark Kent which was super fun as well! Kim was a Cowgirl, I was a Paris Hilton(at least I kind of tried to be) and Bobby was Mitch Richmond (a former, like WAY former, Sacramento Kings player). Unfortunately, Jo could not make it over because of work. We had a ton of fun playing Balderdash and eating lots of candy!
