Flower Pickin'

On Friday night we hung out with our friends Kim, Justin, Katie and Jo which is pretty routine and normal for a Friday night. But after just sitting around chatting for a few hours we decided at about midnight that we wanted to walk up the street from their apartments to a strip mall and pick some of their flowers. It was so silly and fun. The boys threw around a football(in the dark..) and scootered around while Katie, Kim and I wandered around looking for pretty flowers to put in vases (in the dark...). Kim was freaking out that there would be bugs and I just laughed. haha. (Kim had ants in her kitchen the next morning). So these are just a few random pictures of us...

Bobby and I, of course Bobby is making a weird face...
The girls ready for some flower pickin action!
Going to town on those flowers
All the flowers we scored. With Justin being silly.

My wilting flowers, I left them in the bag all night. :( ha

Snail Hunting.

When it rained a week or so ago Bobby noticed there were a ton of snails in our yard. And we hate snails. Ha. So he decided to snail hunt. He grabbed this box and went to town on our front and backyards. I stood inside an watched. But there were SO many! The pictures don't even do it justice! Last year we used a whole thing of Morton's salt to kill but this was a little more exciting for Bobby(and more frugal ha). He threw them away when he was done. Snails suck man. I'm so glad I have such a goofy husband who does these things! He was really into it too! Haha! Gotta love Bob!

Just about the final batch. ha.

Check out the socks with the flops, that's gettin' down to his Utah roots...

The Moustache.

So, this could possibly be the weirdest thing Bobby has ever done; he grew a moustache. He actually shaved it off about two weeks ago(thank goodness) and I'm just now getting around to blogging about it... haha. He isn't allowed to have facial hair at work with the exception of a moustache. Which totally cracks me up. Which I suppose helped in his decision to grow one. It started out as a beard on his week off, then he shaved the beard and grew his lovely red moustache for a month-ish. Just about everyone teased him about it. And his sister Kelly saw this HILARIOUS shirt and TJ Maxx and told us we had to go buy it and we did. Ha. Thankfully these pictures are right before he shaved the red caterpillar off. Haha. I love Bobby so much, he certainly can make me laugh, and I did laugh at him just about every day. He was sort of disappointed in his end result though. He wanted it to be bushy, and when he see's men with nice bushy full moustaches he will throw a compliment their way, he is so SILLY! Ha.

Baby James!

Mom and I flew to Las Vegas to help Emily with the kids and stuff since she just had a baby! BABY JAMES! It was so fun to help out and play with the kiddos and hold the new baby. We had a picnic and did some shopping and just hung out together. I got a small taste(very small) of motherhood and I loved it, but don't expect me to be poppin' any kids out any time soon... I promised Ev I wouldn't have any until he got home! So just another couple years. Ha. I already miss all the Durham's and can't wait to see them again soon!

Valentine's Day

We really never "celebrate" Valentine's Day because, well, it's not really a holiday. Haha. But this year we "celebrated" by having our good friends Kim, Justin, Katie and Jo over! We ate a super yummy spaghetti dinner with, garlic bread and salad. We drank Martinelli's and had really good cake (made by Kim) for dessert! We played all kinds of silly games and just hung out. It was a super fun Valentine's Day, filled with lots o' love!

Bobby and Jo got a little crazy wrestling...

I made everyone take pictures. Haha, this is the most normal one...

This was my goofy idea to all mix up, we look so funny with the wrong persons. HAHA!

This is us all smooching!

Evan's Birthday Weekend!

On January 17, Evan, my baby brother turned 19! It was an absolutely fabulous weekend! Not only were we celebrating his birthday, but he also went through the Temple for the first time and give his "farewell" talk! Emily, Matt, Sarah and Andrew as well as Grandma Davis were here to join in on all the fun! Of course Elliot, Kelly, Ellie, Scot and Macie were there too. It was so much fun to be surrounded by family for an entire weekend! I am so proud of Evan, he is one of my best friends and I couldn't be happier with the decision he has made to serve a mission! He is the best younger brother! (We missed you Ellen)

The kids call Bobby their "Silly Uncle". Haha!!

Macie after the birthday cake... haha. She is so adorable!

Christmas Time! (2008)

Welp, Christmas has come and gone AGAIN! It was a ton of fun and we enjoyed the time we spent with our families. We had dinner Christmas Eve at Grandma Shirley's and then read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at the Davis'. We spent Christmas morning with the Davis family which included gifts and a delicious breakfast made by Dad(or Big Wayne as Bobby likes to call him.) Then we headed over to the Green's, which is literally around the corner. We did our annual family gift exchange game, played Guitar Hero World Tour and this fun game called Blockus. We ate French Dip for dinner, which was absolutely delicious!

The morning after Christmas, we packed up our Jeep and headed off to Utah to visit Bobby's grandparents and aunts and uncles. We caravaned with Bobby's parents, his brother Bill and his family and his sister Kelly and her family. We were quite the caravan, it was 3 white Jeeps and a white Minivan! We made our first stop in Reno, NV at Cabela's after quite the excursion through the Sierra's. We arrived safely in Utah and had a great time playing in the snow and enjoying time with extended family that we don't get to see very often. It was a ton of fun but we swore we-d never return to Utah in the winter again! But promised Grandma Green we'd come back in the summer time. We also went to Cabela's in Lehi, UT, which was way bigger and better than Reno. That store is so fun just to walk around in! It's like a free museum!
